Ariel Rebecca Martin (born November 22 2000) popularly referred to as Baby Ariel is an American social media personality popular for her YouTube videos on the platform for social media called musical.ly (now called TikTok). Her name was cited as one of the most popular people in the world of Internet in Time magazine in 2017 and she made the Forbes 2017's list of the top entertainers. Ariel Rebecca Martin, professionally known as Baby Ariel, is an American singer-actress who has been gaining fame through her videos posted to the TikTok platform. Time magazine listed Ariel as the internet's "most powerful person" in 2017, while Forbes named her to its top entertainers list for 2017. Ariel was the first to make her appearance on Musical.ly which was the precursor to TikTok in the month of May 2015. The videos of her dancing and lip-sync have helped her build a huge following and she became the first person to attain 20 million followers on the platform. Ariel has been in the news due to her #ArielMovement cyberbullying campaign, and trolling hackHarassment online. Ariel is well-known for her involvement with social media, particularly the popular social media site TikTok and also for her performance as Wynter Barkowitz in the Disney Channel Original Movie Zombies 2. The third installment of Zombies 3 is in her way, and she'll be appearing in Universal's Oracle. Ariel is also known as Baby Ariel was the first person to make her debut on social media. In 2015, she uploaded videos on TikTok. Following her signing the Creative Artists Agency in September 2016, she began focusing on her professional career. This included songs, web-series films and television.
