Felicity Jones is a British actor who gained fame in the role of Jane Hawking in the critically popular film The Theory of Everything. Jones has been acting since the age of 12 and has worked in multiple plays TV shows and films. Her career began with the TV film The Treasure Seekers. She then played Ethel Hallow in The Worst Witch, and the sequel Weirdsister college. In her debut film Flashbacks of a Fool she performed the role of Young Ruth and went on to be featured in numerous films. Her acting career gained her fame for roles in movies like The Invisible Woman, and The Amazing Spider-Man. But it was her performance on The Theory of Everything' that earned her an Oscar nomination the first time. Jones received praise from both viewers and critics alike in her portrayal of Hawking's wife, who was his ex-wife for this Stephen Hawking biopic. Inferno was her next film, which starred Tom Hanks. Jones was named British Artist of Year 2016 by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles for her remarkable talent and impact in the field of cinema.
